A circus traveller from Norwich, carved original set of figures from driftwood gathered on Llandudno's beach. Shows start on Llandudno Promenade 1860
Founded famous Liverpool Punch Show in 1868. Had travelled world with act using puppets and dogs.

Jack's 73 year old widow, Ann Codman, organized the shows and did the bottling.
