I am getting old - so old in fact that I remember when people wrote letters! Proper letters on paper and sent in an envelope with a stamp. Many people prided themselves on their handwriting and would take care and trouble with presentation.

I was reminded of this when I got a letter the other week from Michael Dixon which arrived in an envelope amusingly decorated, both back and front, by him - and it wasn't even my birthday. I thought you'd like to see what a clever lad he is.
