May Fayre advert

Usually I like the graphics Alternative Arts come up with for the May Fayre. It's lovely to have one in colour for this special birthday but I find this year's offering to be clever but rather unpleasant. See what you think:

Pretty much my thoughts when it came through my door the other day Chris.

Nice to see full colour ...I just wish it was something I felt was worth framing and putting up in the office ...but sadly not ...ah well.

But thanks to whoever designed it ...it is a lot of work , and nicely executed - just not my personal taste is all.

Yes, although in full colour it appears drab. It lacks any gaiety, any sense of fun or any child appeal. It would make a superb book cover for a Dennis Wheatley Satanist novel but not for a birthday celebration of 350 years of slapstick mirth.
