not Punch and Judy, but still worth watching, some really good moves with marionettes dancing to music, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0xJnZp ... ata_player

Hi Benjie

Oddly a guy at the timber yard showed me this clip on his phone the other day ...he'd seen it on youtube and wanted to show me , because " You do puppets mate ...this must be the sort of thing you do "

...did make me giggle ( the comment , not the clip )

There was a vogue a few years back for this type of 'free hip jointed' marionette that can dance with Latin Rhythms . One of the USA Chat Show Hosts had one dance by his desk , and then virtually give him a lap dance.

That was quite a good clip , but I cannot remember the Host ( I am sure someone here will know it ).

And while I dont want to dampen your enthusiasm for the clip , as it is very watchable and fun , there are many marrionettists out there ( our Boards Host for one) ..whose puppeteering skills with string puppets leave that clip in the shade.

But sure , if I saw one busking out on the street Id put some coinage in the hat gladly.

If you want some really fun, clever puppetry with a very rustic marionette have a look at Scott Land's Sal:

Lovely! All Scott Land's puppetry is brilliant.
It's good to squawk!
