Harvey, I think you are perhaps a bit young to be setting yourself up as President of a Punch and Judy Community?

I'd still recommend spell checking the site Harvey.

Well why not also check the spelling and the grammar on your page on the Directory Harvey. Remember that sentences start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. It makes them easier to read. Also people will take you more seriously.

I have sorted my directory out.

But what about the missing capital letters, missing full stops, and the wrong spellings Harvey? Those are what need sorting!

Harvey, Chris is right.

If you want more members, you need to make the page look really professional. There are some pretty obvious mistakes on some of the pages, such as "slapstic" (whilst you write the word "slapstick" above it).

Everyone makes mistakes typing at some time. Doing all that work by yourself, you're sure to miss something. Sometimes we can't see our own mistakes because we're "so far in the forest, we can't see the trees". Why not get a friend to check it over and see if they can help correct a few things?

It would be a shame if all your hard work was wasted because of a few simple mistakes.

I think Slapstick is spelt with a K.

Yes, it is spelt with a "k". What Trevek was pointing out that you spell it correctly on one part of the page and then incorrectly on another.

Your new website is no better Harvey, it is full of spelling mistakes. Three big ones I remember are:
perfresional should be professional, puppetree should be puppetry and perminent should be permanent.

If you have difficulty with spelling then do what I have suggested before, either get an adult to check it for you, or, type it first in a word processor that has a spellchecker and with its help correct the spelling. When it is correct you can then COPY the correct text and PASTE it into your website or your directory entry.

Lots of people have difficulty with spelling but the clever ones don't let it show, they get help.
