Say "Hello" if you are passing ....

Postby Richard Coombs » 29 Jan 2016, 20:44

It seems awfully quiet on here at the moment.
Which is a shame , because for a lot of Punchfolk this can be a quiet time of the year.
I'm sure I am not the only one hunkered down in the workshop carving at the moment.

I guess a lot of people log on , have a look about , but do not post.

So just 'for Educational Purposes' as Jim Henson used to say ....I fancied a little experiment:

If you have just logged onto the message here and are reading this ...post a "Hello" ( just one word if you like ) to see who else is about.

I will start the ball rolling ...........

Hello. I always mean to post on here and end up just reading it instead.
Like you Richard, busy in the workshop. Two new shows almost ready to go into my schools. Goldilocks and the Three Bears makes its debut on 10th Feb, shortly followed by Jack and the Beanstalk.
Punch puppets, props and things also on the go for my lovely customers.
Hope everyone is keeping busy and out of mischief.
Who'd want a proper job?

Hello Harvey,
How are you doing?
Are you planning to be at the May Fayre this year? And will you be performing?
I know it's a good few weeks away but it will be upon us before we know it. I've got my hotel booked already. But before that I have the Blackpool Magicians Convention to look forward to when I meet up with quite a few Punch Profs since Magic and Punch are kindred arts.
It's good to squawk!

You are lucky, it's icy cold here and most of Britain is threatened with the lowest temperatures this year.
I've just started the half term season (www.puppetshow.info) so it's warm enough inside the theatre by 3pm just so long as I switch the heating on at 10am. Only a 6 day season since at the end of the week I'm off to Sunny Blackpool for the Magic Convention and doubtless to meet up with sundry profs - bring plenty of money David, I believe Mel Harvey will have some tasty morsels.
