I thought as it was quiet on here I would share a recent commission.

Lovely job Miraiker.

Actually it brought back a memory. When I was nine or ten (now that's a few years ago you understand) we did a puppet show in school. I remember one of the items was a giraffe which was a papier mache head mounted on the end of a pole which was also covered with painted paper. This pole was part of a chimney sweep's brush set and each pole had a screw connection to the next so that the pole could be continually increased in length by adding on a section at a time. The giraffe extended its neck, much as the skeleton in some Punch shows, but then continued extending further and further until it was swaying way above the audience's heads.
I cannot remember this ending in disaster, but thinking about it now I imagine all sorts of things that could have gone wrong with a couple of ten year olds and a bamboo pole which must have been 5 metres or more.

Looking at your crate I see that it has a strap. I assume from this that this is for a walkaround puppet?
It's good to squawk!
