What's your experience

I have already done quite a few fun days and village fetes, and have noticed that this year they all seem to be saying that attendance is lower than last year. Have any of you doing such work noticed the same? Any ideas as to the reason?

I have had that a few times. One time I had a show in a small hall it had a lot of people, someone said that "oh we are usually packed" and I thought how that was impossible as no-one would be able to move.

Some much quieter than other years, one in particular that must have lost quite a lot of money. What has been more annoying is other regular jobs from late June/early July changing their date and moving to the royal birthday weekend.
