You must have a magical weather forecast Richard. Met Office said good weather would hold until Wednesday (yesterday) when the rain and colder weather would take over. That's certainly been true here in North Wales and my app shows a cloudy, showery Sunday (with a dry sunny day on Monday! Wouldn't you know it?)

Still it has been far worse previous years and it hasn't spoilt the May Fayre. I think it was your second year, if I remember rightly, when it rained all day long, and I remember your performance drawing a huge crown nevertheless.

Then again, we had some very cold days when we had the October Covent Garden event but we still got audiences.

Also, if anyone is worried about the odd shower then remember there's always the Church in which to shelter, or Richard's booth, whichever's bigger!

You are right Chris.. even my "magical" forecast ( BBC) is now showing possible showers.
Although it doesn't look too bad as forecasts go:

It has been showing totally sunny and warmer until today.
The cooler temperature I don't mind , it can be too hot for comfort, which it was a year or two back .
A member of the public collapsed with heatstroke and there was a mini drama getting the medics into him.

With such big crowds there is a claustrophobic element that only seems worse in high temperatures.
At such times I am glad of the cool open space inside the East Wing of my Booth :-)
