nice puppets

Here are some beautiful puppets I noticed on the web.

I'm sure they have found a good home and I hope one day to have a close look at them.
There are a number of puppets I consider exemplars of the craft: The Cruikshank illustrations of Piccini's, Tickner, Kent, the Roselia puppets, the Punch in Scotland, the Punch in Norwich and now these.

Sometimes I get terribly envious - grrr
It has been my experience that I am always true from my point of view, and am often wrong from the point of view of my honest critics. I know that we are both right from our respective points of view. - Gandhi (Having a bob each way.)

Not so sure that the one with black lines painted on its hands should share such illustrious company?
Those applique costumes are great fun.
It's good to squawk!

I thought I was going to see the beautiful Punch & Judy from the web while in London last week.
Unfortunately their new owner turned up with shopping bags full of new clothes instead.

Never mind, instead I was lucky enough to see Geoff Felix's show in Covent Garden. He was performing a special show for some visiting American magicians and the Davenport family.
Who'd want a proper job?
