Hello Chaps and Chap-esses

Been making puppets recently, not Punch type I know , but its a bit quiet on here of late , so I thought "Why not Post 'em anyhow?"

Just a few pics ..none of them finished ( eyes etc not done as you will see )

Hope everyone is well and happily settling into a rather pleasant Autumn.

What Species and Style are they then Richard?
Are they a Crocodile Soul Band or Gospel Group?
... about to perform at a big Fundraiser?
Gatoraid perhaps?

Can anyone suggest titles they might perform.

Actually I am glad you put "Gospel Choir" as that was kind of the feel I was going for.

They were for this years Witham puppet festival a couple of weeks back , where I coach a group of Drama students and we mount a show in a week .

The species is non specific , but yes ended up as kind of 'Rasta' crocodilian monkeys for want of a better term.

The song we did with them was Aretha Franklins "Respect".

With all that hair , earrings and batwing sleeves , the puppets 'moved' well

Very pleased with the results/
