Plywood Slices for Heads

Postby Richard Coombs » 17 Sep 2007, 09:54

I know these pics are elswhere on the Board ..but I thought I would put them into the 'Workshop' section in the right order for ease of viewing.

This odd method of carving heads , might prove an easy start for teen ager or young adult , making first moves in working with wood , having used paper mache in the past ?

ANyhow here is my Devil made in paper pulp when I was 20 , next to my New Devil make in 2006 when I was 43

Doh ..that didnt work as planned ( I m probably doing something wrong) ..But I will take some new pics of my 'slice' method when I make a new Punch Head in a few weeks time.

Best WIshes Richard

NB: It should work now , although it looks as though you have uploaded thumbnails rather than the actual pictures! I've mentioned this before, but obviously you missed it so: Using a blank space in file names is bad practice. First Day.jpg is bad, instead use FirstDay or First-Day or First_Day. Avoid using blank spaces and your photos should always be recognised.
Cheers, Chris
