more puppets

These puppets were made to supplement a set I had made previously.
The ghost has an extendable neck. This works by putting the dowel of the neck on the stage and pushing down so the head goes up. Or you can go the other way and start with a long necked ghost and drop it down.
The monkey has a mop for that now classic starting routine or it can be used with the sausages as a prelude to the crocodile. Or both.
Ketch has particularly bandy legs so that when he is hung he looks a bit pathetic. A good visual gag. The Doctor I usually make looking particularly superscillious and a bit of a dandy.
I think I will now take a break from making puppets - until next year.

I like the face of the monkey, suitably sort of innocent and blank.
Does you monkey make any noise?

The dog I am making is going well, he still needs his facial fur adding, and I've just decide on the style of ear that will suit him.

At present he looks like a killer cyborg, I'll post a picture link once he's less frightening as I know we are viewed by some very sensitive people.

New dog with first 'trial' set of ears, soon to be remodelled as from the side view they appear too bulky.
