BUNTING - fly a flag

Postby lesclarke » 20 Jan 2009, 16:03

On a day out in York... (it was great to go on a quiet Monday and I even had my first ever visit to Betty's, ) ...I found some very good quality cotton Union Jack, (as I have always called it) bunting.

I paid out the £29 for the 10 metre length, with 29 flags 8" wide at top, 10' deep, with about 5' between, and as I said, the quality seems very good.

The label says 'WIN GREEN' and they are on the web at www.wingreen.co.uk,
from them they are £22ish, but I don't know the postage charges, and tried to check just now but their site was loading incredibly slowly.
As if I haven't got enough to do today, with all I've got to do today.

There's a simple answer James, I wasn't paying!

...anyway, it keeps the 'riff-raff' out.

But I will save up and return as I liked the sound of a few items, especially the 'organic brown bread ice-cream.'

Betty's Welsh Rarebit with Old Peculiar Ale is the best in the whole country - even better than Fortumn & Mason.

A bit more of that union jack bunting Les and you'll be rewarded with tea at Betty's in Windsor.

Fortnum's melted Cheese on Crumpets is out of this world!!

Only the other week did I bump into Michael Caine on his way down the stairs!

The dress code is strict,Bespoke hand made clothes a bonus, but Tony should be ok as he has his own Seemtress to make his clothes,I thought he had a full size model of him self that she made his clothes on!!
Or was that the puppets cant seem to recall........................
Im above all this!!
