Some of the Victorian Street Performers used to change their booths into a shadow show for night time performances. These were known as Gallanty Shows. In fact Geoff Felix scoured many London records to discover the workhouse where Piccini died, and found that he wasn't recorded as a Punch man but as a Gallanty man.
