IS IT TEMPTING FATE TO MENTION THE WEATHER?

Postby lesclarke » 31 May 2013, 11:53

The weather will 'do what it will do'. is the only rational way to deal with the British weather.

Can't believe the sun is out again, hope it stays around a while. It has been annoying as we have had our hopes raised several times only for it to then get cooler, wetter and windier again.

I'm off on my annual trip to the coast, even actually on a beach, at Hoylake on the Wirral for the Hoylake Lifeboat Museum's annual Victorian Day. Nice little event, deserves bigger crowds, but the organisers are hoping a change of date will attract more people.

For those working hope it keeps fine, my natural approach of 'Expect the worse - and enjoy the best' may be a bit cynical, but works for me.
As if I haven't got enough to do today, with all I've got to do today.
