He was quite a character.

I always got the impression that Tony had got a great deal of enjoyment from his work entertaining audiences with his magic and Punch, and surely that's what it's all about. Never got to meet him, but have been told he was a very friendly, charming guy.

Must go back and look through his posts, I recall he had a lot of insight into the entertainment business.

He wrote well, wonder if he put down any of his experiences.

Tony wrote copiously, on magical forums and in magazines. I remember he wrote at least one series for Abra, called "Magic with Punch" or somehing very similar.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I never met Tony but he sometimes wrote to me via email, swapping stories and insights.

I even got word of his prior bookings (on the promise not to reveal them) in the hope we could meet when I was in Britain. Sadly, we never did.

Oh, dear, the demise of a true gentleman, showman and puppeteer. Good friend to me over many , Enjoyed a little pop, saw the ,'Other genres' and stayed on top, ' Talked the talk' ,knew what it meant.Wore a 'big 'at, and would not relent. A Showman fine, of the old line, I'll raise to him a glass of wine!! Your God rest, My friend. Regards, john.

Sincere sympathies to all family, - prenty omi, prenty madges- ad eterno.

I think he was the last Punch and Judy man I saw before I did My first Public Performance.
