Thanks for thinking of us all on Sunday Chris.

It was a splendid day. Good time had by all I think.
And although it was not blisteringly hot , the day remained mercifully dry.

I took only a very few photos , but those I have are now in a gallery on my Flickr : https://www.flickr.com/photos/rkcpuppet ... 5118943601

Other folk will put up other better photos and videos in due course of time I am sure

There were plenty of shows on both sides of the Church garden.

Although not entirely impartial , I have to say The Punch and Judy Club had fielded an impressive semi circle of Booths and a Sales Stall , entertaining sizeable audiences all through the day .
There were also plenty of shows too from both the PJF and The College.
Particularly nice to see Martin and Sue Bridal again.
Some 'independent' Professors as well , but sadly no Peter Maggs this Year , his bold and spirited show always works the children to a frenzy and was missed , certainly by me.

Alex Booth was in attendance but had opted to watch shows this year instead of performing herself - something I did myself a few years back. I found that having a year off can be just as rewarding as doing shows because you get the chance to wander all around and see lots of different shows which you don't get to do when 'tied' to your own booth.

Micheal Dixon and Peter Charlton had a well stocked Puppet Guild stall.
Eef had travelled from the Netherlands . He usually watches ( and videos ) shows , but this time he had come with lots of puppets to sell . A photo of his smartly laid out stall made yesterdays Daily Telegraph.

Carl Durbin, always a keen supporter of the event was there , as was Ian Thom , first mingling and chatting as himself , then later transforming into Clown Gingernut.

Not performing but also in attendance from the world of Punch were Chris Sommerville , Geoff Felix ,Daniel Hanton and John Styles.
Film and television puppeteers were out in force too, Iestyn Evans, Ronnie Le drew , Yvonne stone , Sue Beatie, Wim Booth, Roman Stephanski, Bryan Herring and Will Banyard.
Apologies for anyone missed , I am sure others will fill in any gaps.

I was 'Pleased as Punch' to finally unleash my new 'Golden Booth' , probably the only Punch booth to be visible from Space !

Truly a wonderful event , thanks as always to Maggie Pinhorn and Amy from Alternative Arts.

Here's to next year !

Here is a nice documentation of one father and sons day out at Covent Garden on Sunday.

Another nice video of the day ,
Dan from the Punch and Judy Club has done a fantastic job of filming and editing this evocative souvenir of a fantastic day.
