BOOTH DESIGN

Following James' link to a show at Bournemouth on youtube I came across this video of a booth design from America produced in aluminium....

They are at:

It's obviously suited to indoor use, but it's nice to see other people's approach. I think I'd always prefer to work in wood, it's technologically simpler, very forgiving and easier to repair.
As if I haven't got enough to do today, with all I've got to do today.

Thanks for posting those links Les ( very remiss of me..I had meant to do the same thing last year , but forgot to )

I saw some of these booths first hand last August when I was at the Puppets Up Festival in Almone Canada.

Open Door had a stall there as they are Canadian ..and now also have a shop as well as their internet sales ( Montreal I think??)

The Booths are ideal for schools or playcentres , or even for parents to buy for their kids at home ( as they are not overpriced for what they are)

They pack away small and light for when they are not in use too.

But they are not really suitable for professional use, although I daresy some folk are using them for that.

Nice to see a handcrafted Puppet buisiness though ..good luck to them!

If you go to the web site you will see a photo of a really good replacement for the next show clock more typically in use. A sundial. Now I may just include this as an option for the Palatial. Of course we will retain our replica of Big Ben.
It has been my experience that I am always true from my point of view, and am often wrong from the point of view of my honest critics. I know that we are both right from our respective points of view. - Gandhi (Having a bob each way.)
