Bubble Organs!

Postby Benjie » 06 Feb 2011, 00:00

I have seen a couple of little organs used that create bubbles seemingly from turning a handle, does anyone know how these are made?

I'm guessing you are talking about Mark Poulton's Bubble organ.. Basically mark bought a theatrical bubble machine (Mains Powered) and built a box around it to resemble an organ. Mark has the luxury of 13 amp sockets in his booth on the beach so doesn't have to worry about battery powered this and that.
you can get battery powered bubble machines from the Early Learning Centre

Yes I did see the one on Mark Poultons web site also Glyn Edwards on a video had a similar one he was walking round with and turning a handle seemingly to make it work although I'm thinking it might of been battery powered?! Maybe somthing like this I've found http://www.hawkin.com/20670-10048/bubble-machine
